Jeff: Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a look at this wheel step with the non-slip surface and a 300 pound weight capacity. Now, this wheel step will let you access any hard to reach places in your vehicle's engine, or roof. Zoom in here and you can see that the step itself has a nice galvanized metal cheese grater surface. Gives you incredible grip in even the best and worst conditions. And it is an open design, lets any mud, slush or debris pass through the step, doesn't build up on the step itself.
And as you can see, this demonstration we have on a tire, you can just install it right over the top of your tire and it supports your weight when you step on it, by bracing up against the tire itself.Now, it will fit any tire with a cross width of 13 inches or less. They do have adjustable pins right on here on each end that you can pull the clips, pull the pins out, and this will extend out. Right now, it's roughly about nine inches so it'll extend out even further to fit around a 13 inch maximum width tire. Also gives you a four position height adjustment, if you notice right on here. Same way there's a pin on the side and a pin on that side, if you pull the clip out, pull the pin out, it's got two holes here and then three holes on here.
So you can actually have four different height adjustments for the step itself.Few dimensions on the step, the length of it, one end to the other's right at about 21 and a half inches long. The width of just the step is about seven and a half inches wide. And again, the weight capacity is about 300 pounds. And what's nice about the step, you can see the step will fold up if he need it out of the way, but also when you remove it from your tire, if you notice, when you lift it up, you can let the back fold in and then it'll fold down on the step. So it actually folds into a nice compact size for easy storage.
And then when you go to use it, all you have to do, just open it up, take it, put it up against your tire, drop it over the top, level it, and you're all ready to go simple as that. But that should do it for the review on this wheel step with the non-slip surface and the 300 pound weight capacity..

I have a 4WD Suburban and recently purchased a car top carrier. Problem was I couldn't load/unload it without a step ladder, and I didn't want to carry a step ladder around. I ordered the wheel step - problem solved. It works great and folds almost flat for storage. Great product!
This step is awesome. Flat for storage but gives me instant access to top of shell, windshield for cleaning and under hood.
exactly what I wanted to reach into the bed of my RAM 3500 whole hooked up to my 5th wheel trailer. As always, etrailer came through expeditiously.
This is so handy! I once had to get something off my SUV roof and had to find a guardrail to stand on to reach what I wanted. This is so much easier and safer.
Perfect for getting up to the topper rack on my lifted Ram 2500.
Lowest step could be lower. I'm 70 years old and have all the old guy limitations. A lower first step would still give me access to the bed and engine compartment without having to lift my self on one leg to get up.
Super convenient and easy to use. Wish I would have known about it sooner.
